Marketing & Communications Manager

Non-exempt - 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with day-to-day internal and external marketing and communications tasks, supporting companywide initiatives, campaigns, projects, events, branding, and social media efforts that align with the organization’s long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, professional presence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities include researching and implementing innovative marketing and communications strategies within a growing B2B technology company.

Description

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Design marketing and communications materials for both internal and external use, including flyers, promotions, advertising, events, bulletins, and e-Newsletters (monthly)
  • Update Systel companywide phone directory biannually (every six months)
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of employee and customer events for the company, such as training sessions, Open House events, Employee Appreciation events, etc.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications Manager with the Department’s digital marketing and video production initiatives as it aligns with the company’s strategy and branding efforts.
  • Monitor social media accounts, manage a monthly content schedule, and compile analytics reports on social media and web traffic for review
  • Aid in lead generation efforts through tracking leads in HubSpot and generating comprehensive reports on a regular basis
  • Help to maintain and manage websites, including blog content; forms; landing pages; etc. for systeloa.com and systelstatecontracts.com, as well as intranet updates as needed
  • Assist in managing barter trade values and related documentation, creating and distributing employee email signatures, and handling business card requests
  • Contribute to employee morale initiatives, including health & wellness programs and quarterly team-building events. Support managing initiative campaigns, including, but not limited to:
    • Virtual Training Modules
    • Video Testimonials & Campaign Production
    • Peer-to-Peer employee recognition
    • Surveys
    • Case Studies
    • Customer reference and referrals
  • Help the Marketing and Communications Manager with sponsorship-related documentation and administration
  • Assist in the review of Sales Promotions on a quarterly basis to identify relevant marketing collateral to publish and to create innovative marketing initiatives and new product launches
  • Help to enhance and drive web traffic through local review sites and search engine websites, maximizing various Search Engine Optimization tools
  • Explore and research new products, services and technology to help create innovative marketing initiatives and materials
  • Keep inventory of promotional materials and distribute them to Systel branches as necessary
  • Other administrative marketing duties as needed

 

Requirements:

A 2-year associate’s degree, 4-year bachelor's degree, or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields required. Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as Adobe Design Suite, Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Google Ads is preferred.

Must have strong attention to detail, design sensibility, and a willingness to learn. Availability during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and flexibility to travel as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
