0% Corrugate / Cardboard Waste

One key initiative is our commitment to achieving 0% corrugate/cardboard waste. Any corrugated/cardboard material that cannot be re-purposed is stored on site and then hauled away by Sonoco Recycling for proper recycling and re-purposing. Between June 2023 and February 2024, we were able to recycle 31,860 lbs. of corrugated/cardboard material, showcasing our dedication to reducing waste.

Void Fill Collection

We also prioritize void fill collection and re-purposing in our operations. Void fill products recovered through inbound operations are collected and re-used in our outbound shipments. Additionally, our branch offices collect void fill products and send them to our Distribution Center for repurposing through outbound shipments.

Recyclable Waste Sorting and Processing

We have dedicated processes and personnel in place to sort and process recyclable waste generated by our industry. Instead of contributing to landfills, we break down components into recyclable states, such as separating consumed parts into plastic and metal sections.

Our Cartridge Recycling Program

Join the eco-friendly revolution with Systel's Print Cartridge Program, where we tackle waste and carbon emissions head-on by recycling used cartridges from all our authorized manufacturer partners.

Unlike many direct manufacturer programs that only accept their own products, our all-in-one recycling solution allows for easy disposal of various cartridges, image, and fuser units in a single box. Join our effort to divert these long-lasting waste products from landfills at no cost to you, with free recycling and shipping for all volumes.
